SXSW: The "Legendary" Edition

So I saw a term used on Twitter today that I believe describes my post-SXSW feeling.  I'm "SXSW-hung over." I'm so exhausted, however, I'm excited to bring you all of the happenings of SXSW that happened to me, Kathryn Lee Legendre. For those of you who don't know me, I am the current Graphic Designer and hostess of The Real Deal at KTSW. My posts will comes in waves (as I upload pictures/content/what-not) but will be totally awesome. I promise. 

To begin, I have some pictures of On My Side from the TXHC Showcase at Red 7 on Wednesday, March 18. If you listen to my show, The Real Deal, you will remember that this band was featured in an interview and radio set. The guys are from Houston (Louetta), Texas. By the way, I think it would be wise to say that I am, in no way, a photographer. I literally pressed a button and hoped that something came out. So, sorry if the quality sucks.

                   

For the TXHC Showcase, I was only around to see On My Side, Bitter End and Iron Age. I didn't get to see the rest because I was walking 30+ blocks (round trip) to see/take pictures of The Dicks (pictures to follow in another post). Bitter End was great, per usual, but Iron Age was amazing! This show was so much fun and it really rekindled my love for Texas hardcore, but even more so, my love for Iron Age. Their new album, "The Sleeping Eye" comes out in a month or two, and I couldn't be more excited for it. It's going to blow your mind.

So, that's all for now. I'll post more pictures, cool stories and anecdotes as I get settled back into my routine.
